We are honoured that the Royal Navy has accepted
our invitation to take part in Mumbles Navy Days.
Two ships were to have taken part but unexpectedly
HMS Exploit has had to pull out due to technical
problems. However, HMS Express will be with us.
She is an Archer class patrol vessel – the training
vessel for The Welsh University Royal Naval Unit.
Her commanding officer is Lt James Reynolds, who hails from Neath. HMS Express will birth at Swansea Marina alongside the Museum Jetty (adjacent to the Lightship) and will be open to the public on Saturday 24th May and Sunday 25th May from 10am to 3pm.
